The Pendleton UAS Range provides 24/7 access to Delta, Echo, and Golf airspace with the support you need to conduct research and development, crew training, and national airspace integration. Our experienced PUR crew will ensure your operations are performed safely and efficiently.

 

From high desert to 10,000-foot peaks, the underlying land is sparsely populated with large sections of agriculture and forest. The Pendleton UAS Range covers 14,000 square miles with operations approved to  15,000 ft. MSL in Northeast Oregon and encompasses:

DIVERSE TESTING ENVIRONMENTS

With diverse environments and operations approved up to 15,000 ft. MSL in a 14,000 sq. mi. FAA-approved airspace, the Pendleton UAS Range, is capable of setting up a secluded area to test your UAS or UAV project. 

Operational Effeciency

PUR boasts an impressive 300+ VFR days a year, with headquarters at the Pendleton Airport, making it an ideal flying location that minimizes your downtime or weather delays. The range conducts 500-1,000 concurrent operations a month.

The available paved surfaces are UAS Strip 16/34: 60' x 4300', Runway 8/26 (Primary): 150' x 6,301', and Runway 11/29: 11' x 5,581'.

Within the Class Delta airspace, the Pendleton Airport is served by a UAS experienced Control Tower that closely coordinates with the Pendleton UAS Range. Additionally, the airport has regular Fixed Base Operators (FBO), several FAA-certified repair stations, onsite restaurants, and a new Radisson Hotel.
