WAYNE GREEN
Airport Engineer / Associate City Engineer
Wayne Green oversees and executes infrastructure development and engineering efforts supporting the Pendleton UAS Range and Airport.
Wayne has over three decades of engineering and public works experience and has played a foundational role in building the Pendleton UAS Range from the ground up. As part of the original team, he led the design and construction of key infrastructure tailored to unmanned systems testing, including UAS test pads, Flex hangars, and the 160-acre UAS Industrial Park.
A lifelong Pendleton resident, Wayne’s deep local knowledge and relationships enable rapid coordination and execution, often turning around customer requests in hours instead of weeks. He also helped establish agreements with regional landowners, expanding the Range’s ability to support remote launch and recovery operations beyond the airfield. In addition to his role at the airport, Wayne serves as the City’s Associate Engineer, supporting broader community development efforts.
